As the artist behind Thistle and Griffin, I just want to say thank you for being here! I’ve been crafting and creating for as long as I can remember, and both embroidery and mosaic art have become true lifelong passions.

The name of my shop comes from two things I love deeply: all things Scottish, and my horse, Griffin. My trip to Scotland in 2023 left me completely inspired. Artful thistles were everywhere, in sculptures, paintings, cards, even little souvenirs. It felt only fitting to weave that inspiration into my work.

And then there’s Griffin; my Thoroughbred with a failed racing career and a thriving second act as a spoiled, happy partner to an adult amateur. His days now revolve around trail rides, goofing off with his buddies, eating treats, and tolerating (and secretly loving) our matching outfits.

Take your time exploring, there’s something here for everyone. Every handmade piece is handcrafted by me in my Eastern PA studio. Kits and supplies have been carefully curated from other small businesses. If you have any questions about my work, don’t hesitate to reach out.
